Rules for Handling Disputes over Interests

Xiamen Hongtian Chuangshi Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Meitu") attaches importance to the protection of users' rights and intellectual property rights. These Rules are designed to comply with applicable laws and regulations and safeguard the rights and interests of Meitu users. Users may make claims to Meitu, and Meitu will handle the claims in accordance with these Rules.

Article 1 Scope of Application

• 1. Violation of personal rights, including but not limited to users' publicity rights, privacy rights, and right to a sound reputation.
• 2. Infringement of intellectual property rights, including but not limited to trademarks and copyrights.

Article 2 The Process of Filing a Complaint

• 1. Download and complete the Meitu Complaint Letter and the Authorization Letter (applicable only when a complaint is filed by an attorney) (the letters shall be signed or sealed by the owner (or its authorized agent));
• 2. Provide an electronic scanned copy of the resident identity card of the individual owner or of a qualification certificate of the legal entity owner, and other preliminary documents that support the violation or infringement;
• 3. Indicate the URL of the link to the infringing content or any other request in the email;
• 4. Send the email to: support@meitu.com.

Article 3 Guidelines for Recovery of Content Removed due to a Copyright Infringement

• 1. Scope of application: Users whose video content is removed, or the link to which is disconnected, by Meitu. Inc. due to a copyright infringement complaint.
• 2. If any user whose content has been removed deems that such content posted or uploaded by him or her does not infringe the copyright of others, he or she may give Meitu a notice as stipulated by the applicable laws and regulations and request that the content which has been removed be recovered.
• 3. A notice requesting recovery of the content that has been removed shall contain the following:

(1) A completed Notice Requesting Recovery of a Removed Link , Authorization Letter (applicable only when a complaint is filed by an attorney) (the letters must be signed or sealed by the owner (or its authorized agent));

(2) An electronic scanned copy of the resident identity card of the individual user, or of a qualification certificate of the legal entity user, whose content has been removed, and other preliminary documents that support the absence of a violation or infringement;

(3) The name and URL of the Meitu content that is required to be recovered.

(4) Send the notice via email at, and indicate the name of the user whose content has been removed and the link required to be recovered in the email.

Article 4 Download Links to Relevant Documents

Article 5 Handling Period

• Meitu will verify and handle a valid complaint filed in accordance with the Meitu Community Management Rules and applicable rules and regulations within 10 working days upon receipt of it.

Article 6 Reasons Complaints May Not Be Handled

• Meitu has the right to not process any complaint which is not strongly supported or is not filed in accordance with these Rules, and may do so without providing further notice to the filing user. In this case, users may file another complaint.
