Meitu Community Management Rules
Chapter I General Provisions
- 1. These Rules are developed in accordance with existing laws and regulations and the
Meitu Service Agreement
for the purposes of safeguarding the order of the Meitu community and better protecting the legitimate rights
and interests of users.
- 2. The Meitu community (the "Platform") will assist administrative and judicial authorities in safeguarding the
legitimate rights and interests of any infringee in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and the
applicable user agreement.
- 3. You may refer any doubt or dispute over the interpretation or enforcement of these Rules to us.
Chapter II Code of Conduct for Users
- Users shall post content in accordance with the
Meitu Service Agreement
and applicable laws and regulations. Any user who is found to have posted content in violation of applicable
laws and regulations or the
Meitu Service Agreement
will be disciplined based on the severity of the violation. Violating content shall include but not be limited
to:

1. Harmful information, including:
-
(1) Information that endangers national and social security as stipulated by existing laws and regulations,
including:
- (i) Information that opposes the basic principles established by the Constitution;
- (ii) Information that endangers national security, leaks national secrets, subverts the national regime or undermines
national unity;
- (iii) Information that incites racial hatred or discrimination or undermines racial harmony;
- (iv) Information that undermines national religious policies or promotes cults or superstitions;
- (v) Information that spreads rumors, disturbs the social order or undermines social stability;
- (vi) Information that advocates or incites gambling, violence, murder, terrorism or any other criminal activity;
- (vii) Information that incites an unlawful assembly, association, march or demonstration, or gathers crowds to
disturb the social order;
- (viii) Information that insults or slanders others, infringing upon their legitimate rights and interests; and
- (ix) Any other information prohibited by law, relevant policies and procedures, or national regulations.

(2) Unsecured information that may endanger the property security or information security of users, including:
- (i) Content that contains any link to a phishing website;
- (ii) Links to websites or content that contains Trojans or other viruses; and
- (iii) Content that is potentially harmful or violates others' privacy.

(3) Obscene or pornographic information, including:
- (i) Information that involves soliciting prostitutes or looking for casual sex or sexual partners, etc.;
- (ii) Erotic texts, videos or pictures; and
- (iii) Any other content of a sexually suggestive nature.

(4) Content involving violence
- (i) Content that spreads violence, terrorism or bloodiness;
- (ii) Content that depicts the abuse of teenagers, children or the elderly;
- (iii) Content that involves selling, displaying or producing explosives;
- (iv) Content that involves taking, producing or selling addictive narcotic drugs or psychotropic drugs controlled
by national regulations (see the
List of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Drugs); and
- (v) Content that involves selling, displaying or making harmful tools such as imitation guns, bolts and controlled
knives.

(5) Content that involves gambling
- Content that involves gathering together to gamble for the purpose of making money or selling gambling supplies,
and videos that involve gambling.

(6) Prohibited items
- Items that are prohibited by the country from being sold.

(7) Illegal software and hardware
- VPN software, eavesdropping software, TV streamers and pseudo base stations.

(8) Rumors
- Rumors that damage the reputation of others or that may cause harm to other individuals, enterprises or organizations.

2. Violating activities
-
(1) Marketing spam refers to messages that are sent for marketing purposes, seriously violate the rules,
affect user experience, and cause damage to users and the community. Any ID which is found to have sent
marketing spam will be disciplined based on the severity of the violation.
- (i) Spam that involves the sales of followers and related business;
- (ii) Spam comments, spam repostings, spam keywords enclosed by pound signs, and spam searches;
- (iii) Advertising messages sent mechanically or via software;
- (iv) Insignificant or repetitive content sent mechanically;
- (v) Information that is used to take advantage of system vulnerabilities to cause disorder on Meitu (such as
stealing other users' accounts and compelling other users to follow);
- (vi) Content that contains advertising information, is sent by users in large quantities and interferes with
the reviewing platform; and
- (vii) Content that contains false advertisements such as advertisements for part-time online jobs.

(2) Violations involving user disputes, including
- (i) Content plagiarism, such as posting content created by others without indicating the source or without marking
the content as reposted;
- (ii) Broadcast infringement, such as broadcasting the copyrighted content of a third party without the prior
authorization or approval of said third party (including but not limited to television dramas, films and
other works created in a way resembling film production);
- (iii) Harassment, such as sending repeated or similar messages to others in the form of comments, private messages,
etc.;
- (iv) False identity authentication, such as
1) Authenticating an identity on Meitu based on false materials and information; or
2) Authenticating an identity that is not consistent with your true identity.

(3) False advertisements, including:
- (i) Fraudulent advertisements, such as false advertisements for part-time jobs designed to cheat others out of
money or personal details;
- (ii) Advertisements for unbranded and undated products from an unlicensed manufacturer, such as health care products,
drugs, foods and cosmetics which are obviously ineffective or defective;
- (iii) Advertisements that promote fake products or make false promises about products or services, including:
1) Products that bears a false certification mark, a false trademark or a false mark indicating exemption from inspection;
2) Products that indicate a false origin;
3) Products that indicate a false manufacturer’s name or address;
4) Products that bear registered trademarks of others;
5) Fake or low-quality products;
6) Products that have become ineffective or have spoiled;
7) Products that endanger human health, safety or property security;
8) Products that are not what they are described as;
9) Products that national laws and regulations expressly prohibit from being manufactured and sold.
Chapter III Disciplinary Action, Reporting and Complaint Filing

1. Disciplinary Action
- Any user who posts any content or performs any activity in violation of the above rules will be given a warning,
banned from posting, or removed from his or her account.

2. Reporting
- Any violation of the code of conduct for users by any user may be reported using Meitu's reporting feature.
